Named one of Arena magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful Male Models in the World in 2015, Chando Erik Luna has built a career spanning fashion, acting and filmmaking. Born in Madrid, he appeared in his first commercial at the age of three, for a baby shampoo. It was the beginning of a public career that would extend over more than twenty-five years.

As a teenager, Luna continued modelling in the United States. He went on to appear in more than 200 magazines and in campaigns and runway shows associated with Armani, Valentino, Versace, Ralph Lauren, Kenzo, Castelbajac, Evisu, Adidas and O’Neill, among others. His portfolio includes work with photographers Francesco Scavullo, Stephen Wayda, Paolo Pellegrin, Ute Ville, Tatjana Bach, Jesús Aparicio, Valero Rioja, Maurek Poggiante, Dani Piedrabuena, Belkalem, Ilaria Orsini and Romero de Luque.

While training as an actor, he continued to work in fashion, appearing frequently in swimwear and sportswear editorials. He also posed nude for a magazine and an art gallery. In 2014, he appeared on the German late-night television show Zimmer frei! and took guest roles in the soap operas Verbotene Liebe, Unter uns and Alles was zählt.

After living in the United States and Germany, Luna returned to Spain in 2015 and worked in theatre productions including After the Fall, The Sire and Felices para siempre. His screen work includes the short films Alienígenas (2015), After the Fall (2015), Muérete, mi amor (2017) and El resto de nuestras vidas (2018). In 2019, he received a Best Actor in a Foreign LGBTQ Production award at the Côte d’Azur Web Fest.

Luna made his directorial debut in 2020 with the drama Adiós, Susana, which he co-directed and co-produced with Rubén Pascual Tardío. He also appeared in the film alongside Laura Arjona, Cristina Piaget, Leni Rico, Alina Nastase and Beatriz Rico.

His years in the public eye brought sustained media interest in his personal life, particularly in Italy and South America. Despite offers to take part in reality television programmes, including Celebrity Big Brother and Temptation Island, he chose to pursue his own work in fashion, acting and film. Alongside his creative career, he studied Political Science and later pursued studies in Sports Science and Nutrition.

In 2023, a serious accident brought his work to a halt. He spent nearly two months in a wheelchair and faced a long, painful recovery. The experience changed his priorities. In 2024, he stepped back from public life to focus on his health, his studies and personal projects.

Luna has lived in Switzerland since 2017, travelling occasionally to Los Angeles, Madrid and Milan for work and spending time in Sydney, Australia. In recent years, he has worked primarily as a private investor while remaining involved in fashion, writing and creative projects such as Xkandalo!, where he has contributed to the visual direction of events.

In 2026, he returned to fashion through new photo shoots and runway appearances, including Basel Fashion Week with designer Leo Norma. He approaches this chapter with decades of experience and the freedom to choose the projects that matter to him.

Away from work, Luna enjoys surfing, travelling and spending time with animals, especially horses. His family background brings together Spanish, Caribbean, Danish and Lebanese roots.
